Last week – Dinner:
The first Bantam-Corn this year! And it was delicious! Three corn-ears boiled in salt water for Mommy and Daddy each – and they were stuffed with a smile on their faces!
Speaking of smiles on faces – I made a new friend! His name is Sammy:
I can’t wait for him to grow up so we can play. Right now he’s just a baby, so I have to behave.

She’s been hunting for elder for a few days already and been extracting the juice. From the second batch of juice she immediately filled five glasses worth of jelly. Two bottles of juice are still awaiting their destiny – syrup, probably…
