Zucchini-Sauce for Pasta

A new zucchini is ready for harvesting on an almost daily basis now. So here is another quick and delicious recipe for you to try out!

Take a medium sized Zucchini, wash it and chop it into small pieces. Add a little bit of water into the pot plus one or two fine chopped onions and lots and lots of garlic – if you like that. Add salt and pepper. Boil it until it is done, then work it through with a potato masher. If it eventually should be too liquid as you happened to have too much water (yeah, Mommy managed to mess this up this time ^^) mix some flour with water in a cup and then put it into your sauce. At last, you add one or two packages of cottage cheese. You can add some ginger to your sauce as well, this tastes very good.

Here is a picture of the sauce with pasta (which Mommy managed to mess up too, sigh… she boiled it too long) – which I have to admit – looks kind of… erm… already eaten once… But hey, it wasn’t and in fact Mommy and Daddy had a delicious dinner!
